I am a Senior/Lead Solutions Architect with focus on Public Cloud and former Technology Consultant for SAP cloud solutions with more than 13 years work experience. I work with large corporations and medium-sized enterprises helping them to grow their businesses using disrupting IT solutions. Work Experience
Senior Engineer Enablement & FinOps
I am guiding teams on their cloud journey according to best practices on Cloud including cost optimization with FinOps. When I’m not doing field work, I work on the multi-cloud strategy and consult our platform team to run a better cloud platform product by improving the developer experience and platform consistency. I am also responsible for the overall FinOps strategy and implementation at OBI, including the integration of our cloud platforms into our existing processes and tools. I work closely with our financial stakeholders to ensure that we have a clear understanding of our cloud costs and can optimize them effectively.
Program Manager Hybrid Cloud
I was currently responsible for the overall Public Cloud program, where we worked on selecting and two cloud providers for the Henkel. I consult teams to speed up digital transformation using cloud technologies and its architecture principles for the Public Cloud and DevOps methodologies for development and continuous deployments.

Projects
OCP multicloud extension
I was responsible for introducting Google Cloud Platform for AI and Data workloads at OBI, after Google Workspace has been introduced by another team. I led the entire architectural decision process , including the integration with existing AWS and container platform. I managed work of 2 DevOps engineers and aligned with my peer senior engineers on platform consistency. We introducted the Landing Zone in less than 5 months and brought several pilot workloads live, using Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and Vertex AI. We also introduced a CI/CD concept with GitLab SaaS and OpenTofu to deploy our workloads. The platform is fully integrated into the existing OBI DevSecOps (Wiz) and FinOps (Cloudability) processes and is used by several teams to build their data pipelines and AI models. In addition, the existing Azure Landing Zone was reviewed and retrofitted according to the Azure CAF framework and codified with OpenTofu.
Hybrid Cloud Program
Program Lead for Henkel's Hybrid Cloud Strategy. Overall responsible to transform the Henkel IT backbone into a modern, fully automated platform and fostering a product team and platform engineering culture to partner with dx and our business units. In Phase 1, we worked with 2 major partners and established an curated open-source ecosystem to build our platform. Overall team size of > 30 FTE (incl. 10 FTE internal) spanning over three Henkel IT hubs. Overall project budget > 5M€. Technology stacke we introducted and used: Ansible, GitLab, Terraform Enterprise, OpenShift/Kubernetes, Azure, GCP, AWS, Docker, ArgoCD, GitOps, DevSecOps. In Phase 2, we conducted a vendor RfP to find a migration partner. We mutually migrated the workloads to a fully internally managed service on our Hybrid Cloud platform. Phase 2 was completed after my offboarding with scope and budget in time.
Program SPARC
Lead Architect for the SPARC program & Team Lead DevOps. Responsible client architect for an internal global asset in the Trade Promotion Management process domain. Giving tactical and technical direction to implementation partner to ensure good practices in software delivery and modern DevOps methodologies. Overall responsible for CI/CD, testing automation and release strategy. Enabling 40 FTE in the area of cloud development, architecture, operations
Project Private DNS as a service
Leading a squad of very experienced DevOps Engineers and Cloud Architects to provide a private DNS service for the entire Henkel organization.
Project Global API Management
Global integration of API Platform solution for entire Bayer (including Monsanto) using modern software development technologies, hybrid deployments and immutable infrastructures. Utilized DevOps pipelines with Git/GitLab, AWS ECR, Docker, CloudFormation. Contributed to the Cloud Platforms documentation.
Project Next SAP Hosting Strategy
Leading a request for solution (RfS) with 4 strategic partners of Bayer including the complete outsourcing of the SAP landscape. Tender volume totalling > 50mio EUR. Managed requirements, conducted Workshops and provided a recommendation to Steering Committee.
Project Asset Intelligence
Plant Maintenance and Digital twins. Architectural consulting for Crop Science business and SCM team. Realization of Identity Integration and technical integration into Crop Science ERP system
Project daproh@bearings
SAP ERP and S/4 HANA Template development and rollout for a major German customer for discrete production. Agile Development Lead including skills for Solution Architecture and Test Management. The template includes development objects based on ABAP on HANA with an effort of 1700 mandays. This is developed by 6 local developrs, Entwickler and will be transitioned to another 7 nearshore developers from nearshore.
Project FARMS
Sunset a legacy platform and reengineering requirements with the help of SAP Hana Cloud Platform. Full stack development on HCP. Besides native components FARMS also employs a mobile hybrid application with SAPUI5 and SAP Mobile Platform eligible for iOS und Android tablet use.
Project STAR
Project manager for ERP and BW on HANA upgrade for leading company on German utilities sector. Leading a team of nearshore migration consultants, test manager and PMO.
Project NewIT / SAP service management & GRC
